July 26, 2003 - Saturday

8:00 am Basic Photography Workshop (Part 1)
The participants would be given a lecture / workshop on Basic Photography by a facilitator. The concepts that they will learn in this session would be applied in the coming activities
9:45 am Break
10:00 am Basic Photography Workshop (Part 2)
12:00 nn Lunch Break
1:00 pm Application of concepts learned in the Basic Photography Workshop
The participants would be divided into five groups and would be allowed to take pictures around the area. They are free to choose whatever subject they wish. They would be guided by the staff so as to ensure their welfare. Proposed area: Intramuros, Manila.

July 27, 2003 Sunday

7:45 am Opening Activities
8:00 am Critiquing (by the Facilitator)
The pictures taken by the participants the day before would be shown to them and to the facilitator. The facilitator would then critique the works of the participants and tell them if they correctly applied the techniques taught to them the day before. Through this activity, it is hoped that the participants would know the proper techniques for the next activity.

1:00 pm Application of concepts learned with a specific subject (Children)
In this activity, the participants would be divided into five groups and would be asked to take pictures of a specific subject, children. These five groups would be sent to different areas where they can take pictures. These are the Paraiso ng Batang Maynila (Adriatico Street corner Quirino Avenue, Malate), Childrens Playground (Luneta Park, Manila), Roxas Boulevard (Ermita and Malate, Manila), Cultural Center of the Philippines area (Manila) and in a community in Paco (Manila) (Proposed Areas)

Selection Period
July 28 30, 2003 Monday to Wednesday
The participants would be requested to pass by the KKK office so that they can select which among the pictures they have taken in the Sunday afternoon activity would they want to be included in the exhibit. The pictures that they picked will be re-printed in size 8R. For those who are not able to choose which picture they want to be exhibited, the staff would take liberty in selecting the picture that they will include in the exhibit.
